So this girl i have started to like, i try talking to her and we hit it off and get along, i get her number and we start to text and i flirt and she asked me my type, i told her she fits my type, and then she kinda switched on me telling me i should not want her, she's a lot to handle & that we're not in the same page and she wants a realtionship.

she thinks im a player and kinda unloaded abunch of assumptions about me, i was just like woah well im not like that, but i wanna ask her out on a date. But I don't know if she's just doing this for me to not like her, or she's just heavily guarded.

I think she is not that into you , because if she is, she will ask you about what you are looking for instead of making assumptions and excuses in response to your flirt. But I could be wrong and you can still ask her out, there is not too much to lose, if she says no, you can move on instead of keeping guessing.

Lol me too , but I usually make it super obvious that I like the person and ask them out to see how responsive they are , and I got rejected several times... But just moved on..

Nothing wrong with trying tho lol and that sucks i think i've only been rejected once cause this girl i asked on a date never hit me back, so i just dropped her and she got all upset, and still to this day she still tries to talk to me lol i just considered it as rejection

She's insecure, but she seems really interested in you. ask her on a date. if she says that you should not date her, tell her its your choice, that only you know who is good enough for you, and tell her to be more secure
