A lot of people are scared of not finding the right person and settling too soon. People like to play the field. If a nice person has been screwed over enough times they will begin to understand the difference between someone who is serious and someone who is not. Someone who is serious about a relationship should not be afraid to talk to you about what they're feeling. Someone who acts "shady" is clearly giving off a sign that they aren't ready and have other options. A person can do three things when they notice someone is acting shady.
1. They can hang around, become resentful, and eventually get hurt.
2. They can continue to date the person and not take the relationship seriously. Have fun, hookup, but continue to keep their eyes open for other potential people. Although, in this situation if a person doesn't clearly state that they are "dating other people" or "not ready for a relationship," then they are playing games. These people normally are the ones that people chase after. Why do these people chase them? Because of an instinct that makes people want what they can't have. That kind of behavior usually ends up with someone getting hurt. The people who don't clearly communicate what they want are selfish and liars. Some people eventually learn this while others continue to follow their instinct.
3. They can end the relationship, understand that the other person is not ready, and continue to search for an honest guy/girl.
Guys that don't screw over good girls you don't hear about it. A guy treats the nice girl right and ends up marrying them.
Society is negatively based. You only hear about the crime, the things that go wrong, etc. You don't know the daily stories of many happy couples. We are attune to seeing things that are out of place. Picking the one person wearing a red t-shirt in a crowd of yellow t-shirts. Perhaps people should learn that if it doesn't work out, then it wasn't meant to be. Try to learn something from your experiences and move on.

some good girls get screwed over same as some "bad " girls do too
its not just the one type person who gets screwed over the hole time anyone no matter what they may be can get screwed over everyone in this life gets screwed over at least once or twice and a lot of people more times than that
it has nothing got to do with the person you are and when you do get screwed over it just shows you weren't ment to be and you have to keep searching
I think everybody gets screwed over. Bad girls get screwed over but it hurts nice girls more because we actually care. Guys who screw girls over don't have feelings period so they don't care whether you're nice or sweet. You're just another girl. =/

Bad boys screw over good girls.
Everyone screws over nice guys.
Psycho bitches are too smart and elusive to get screwed over by the bad boys.
Rather, they screw over the nice guys, who then wise up and become bad boys.
These bad boys screw over the good girls.
The newly-screwed good girls become vengeful psycho bitches.
And the process repeats itself.
Maybe you should try dating nice guys before the bad boys transform you ^_^
