Do you believe in "Women’s Intuition”?

Question

It is usually an instant instinct that tells you when something isn't right or when it is just perfect... do you have it? ... or are your instincts off most of the time?

Guys, do you have the same intuition that most females have?

YES YES YES. It happens to me so often it's crazy.

One of the most popular examples of this is an incident that my cousins and aunts talk about every single time I meet them. We once went to an amusement park and we were about to get on this ride, I was the only one who didn't have a good feeling about it, I don't know why, but I told everyone to go somewhere else. When they didn't agree I said that I don't wanna get up with them then. But my cousins kind of forced me to get up with them so I did. It was the worst ride ever. It would shake and move so violently two of my cousins' glasses flew off of their faces, the contents in my bad we're all colliding with each other and the screen of my phone (which was 7 days new) cracked, I literally had to hold on to my bad with all my strength so that it doesn't fly away, another cousin had all the tickets in his bag and they flew away as well and we didn't find them again and had to go back home.

Every time I meet my cousins they still ask me how did I know this was gonna happen.

Another such favorite moment of mine was at a function where I was performing on stage. We were chilling and taking selfies backstage when this Chinese lady offered me a burger. I LOVE burgers, I will never say no to a burger, and the one she offered me looked really good, but I have no idea why I refused anyway and went for a fruit salad instead. A good amount of time passed by then and I almost forgot about it, until that lady came back to me and said "Aren't you Muslim? I am so sorry that I offered you that burger, I didn't know that it was made out of pork. It's good that you didn't eat it." All I could think in my mind that moment was "God is great"

These are just two of my favorite incidents out of many others that happen with me.

It's really important for women not to ignore it in safety situations, even if it seems rude. It helps women avoid sexual assault, like when something is normal but a person or situation just feels off.

Women do have stronger intuition than men. They can pick up on body language, tone of voice, facial expressions, eye movement, vibes, etc better than men can.

As a “sensitive” man I got this as well. But I’ve been told that’s a weakness when I was younger so I sometimes purposely acted oblivious to avoid looking feminine.

But over time what I’ve recognized is my intuition is a gift. My gut has been 95 percent right most of the time when I sense a bad situation. For example with the exception of one girl, every single time a woman screwed me over my gut sensed it way ahead of time. Even for girls I just texted on dating apps my gut would tell me if they are going to flake on a date or something else wrong. I tell myself not to be paranoid but my gut was almost always right.

But the issue I have about female intuition it gets completely hijacked when certain guys (or girls) know how to press her buttons. Her intuition should tell her that an asshole will bring nothing but harm. But she’s so excited and turned on by his aggression and/or nonchalance she turns into a moron and jumps head first into the dark pit.

That’s a female mental foible I get it. But when it happens it seems that women can never take self responsibility for ignoring their gut. I know nobody felt sorry for me when I got screwed over by some bitch. Some people even mock guys like that.

But since you girls have such “strong” intuition then you should have the ability to avoid at least half the romantic problems you have. But you don’t.

Women believe that they are more intuitive while men believe they are less intuitive because that's what people are taught to think, and this is even displayed in the responses here. But I think men are more in tune with their emotions now than before and are probably just as intuitive, if not more.

Evidence seems to show that women lack the intuition when it comes to knowing which men they shouldn't be dating, or perhaps they just ignore it, but I've never had a terrible relationship with a woman because I know who to avoid, and there's been plenty of women I know would make for terrible partners. So if my intuition is telling me something differently than what hers is telling her, I'll trust mine. Mine has been much more consistent.

I'd say yes. There are many times it does happen, I've noticed it. But mainly on an account of wisdom. Don't go into that grass it's full of water... Go ask for directions if you don't this is going to take forever... You really should call someone that knows how to work on that... Us guys hate to admit it but woman are right most of time with calls like that. But there are other blind calls, where I don't have a good feeling about this place or this person. Wisdom but blind wisdom. If it's a strong gut feeling it's probably a good one most of the time.

Everyone has instincts, but maybe women pay more attention to their instincts, because men often block our instincts in favour of following our logical thoughts. Women have a better emotional vocabulary for giving linguistic form to those innermost intuitions and subtle shifts in feeling. Men have pretty much the same instincts, but our need to explain everything with logic can result in us putting those instincts on the back-burner. It's only when a situation turns dangerous that we retroactively understand that our instincts were correct all along-- then we might listen to those instincts in a similar future situation. But anytime we encounter a unique situation that hasn't previously resulted in danger, our first response will be to interpret it through something resembling a logical progression of rational thought.

The idea of "women's intuition" is bullshit. It is instinct that all humans have. The reason more women than men can rely on it is because of females' emotional conditioning vs. males' in society. Because women are more open and intune with their emotions, they can tell what is a normal emotion vs. a survival instinct. However, men who have been raised to convey their emotions often have just as much accuracy with their instincts as women. The sole exception to this is a mother's instincts. Those are naturally much sharper because the child is part of you.

If women had such good intuition, why are so many miserable (statistically women are less happy then men who statistically have always been less happy then women. Women are also the biggest consumer of antidepressants), ending up divorcing (70% of divorces are filed by women), and constantly complaining about how all men are assholes (because you know, you went after the asshole (kind of like a guy going after a slut and then being shocked that she turned out to be a slut. Women have been known to be able to read social cues more. It's why women and men bicker a lot as well. A woman will hint without saying what she wants, and will get mad when a man doesn't know what she wants. It's like secret code. I remember my nightly dreams and process them. As well as trying to live a meditative and mindful lifestyle, I find that my intuition kicks in regularly. I believe everyone has intuition and some people are more aware of it than others. It doesn't matter if one is female or male.

Not particularly, but women are socialized more than men, and often sense subtle facial cues or body language. Men are usually taught to "just get it done" and reserve their emotions only for themselves. Intuition is a more emotional response.

If left to their own devices, men and women would likely be extremely similar in terms of intuition and instinct.

I think it's real. You can psycicly pick up on stuff with like.. Your third eye.. And yes, I think it could have, key word here some truth to it. You should pay attention to it and test it and stuff like that and see if it's a reason to/for concern or not. You can get better at it I think. I think almost everyone has it. But just you are male, it doesn’t mean you don’t have it. I’ve seen MANY women who don’t have intuitions either. You cannot just stereotype that way. Generally it’s stronger in women because women are more sensitive to vibes

There are people with good intuition and bad intuition. If women had such good intuition divorces would be lower they wouldn’t pick bad guys or bad friends. No. Intuition is a real phenomenon. But I don't believe it differs by gender, not significantly enough for there to be women's intuition at least. I also believe that intuition in general is often way overrated. It is a very important trait, of course, and we need it constantly. So don't get me wrong. But people trust in it in way too many situations that shouldn't rely on intuition.

A guy who is constantly not being honest with how he feels is basically silencing that inner voice to the point where it can't be heard. Instead of calling it womens intuition, I think people should start teaching how men can develop this trait.

Both men and women have intuitions that work in different areas
Women tend to be better at reading people or understanding social situations.
Men often seem to have a more analytical or logical intuition and often related to direction.

Women have an intuition but it's not always correct. Intuition is basically a feeling that you get about something that can be right or wrong. Some women are more accurate with their intuition than others. Unfortunately, it's also why women tend to be so convinced of their delusions, because they can feel it's true.

I think it exists, but in my observations it tends to exist mostly in very feminine women. So maybe better to call it feminine intuition. I've never known a butch girl to exhibit this type of intuition for example.
