Is it bad if a girl your talking to doesn't respond to compliments?

I haven't done it often, but she'll send me selfies and I would say she looks beautiful, gorgeous, etc...
She really doesn't acknowledge it. She'll like my text but never acknowledge it. Is this bad?

It is bad. At one end sending you her pictures is a MASSIVE indicator that she is interested in you, and on the other hand her not answering on compliments is bad. Combine this, and id say it's likely that she just wants attention.
Test her out. When she sends you another picture, don't send her a compliment. Instead focus at where did she take a picture or anything on the picture but her. That includes what she is wearing. So focus on the room she is in, the crack on the mirror, anything but her and what she is wearing. If she continues talking to you, still withold the compliments. Then if she sends you another photo, that lowers the possibility she wants attention and makes it more likely she is interested. But if you want to be double sure, don't compliment her second picture either and repeat what you did on the first (focus on something else on the pocture). If she sends a third, the chance that she likes you are about 98%.

Her not answering your compliments doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Sometimes, people get shy and don’t know what to say. She actually is acknowledging your texts by liking them. It’s just hard to say anything in that situation!
Worst case scenario, she’s kind of uncomfortable with compliments (which doesn’t seem likely but is always a possibility). If you’re nervous about it, instead of asking us, maybe you could ask her “Hey do you mind when I compliment you?”. Then you would know for sure!
