I've personally never had this happen to me so I am wondering if it is just a hollywood romance thing. Ladies, when asking a gentleman to zip you up is it usually just a straight forward request for help (yes in my experience) or a way to flirt and see how the guy reacts? If it is to flirt, I am curious what kind of things go through your mind during this eg. showing more skin, gauging their confidence, setting up for a kiss etc.

I always just took it as. It's a pain to do on some dresses. Especially if some leverage is required. So, ask a guy you know for help if a woman isn't available.
Similar to when they can't work the tiny clasp of some necklaces easily. Since they can't see it. So, its difficult to do.
I love it. It's a very intimate, and sometimes sexy, moment.
And it's probably equally great an experience for both women and men.
A man who does this can do it with class, sexiness, care... it's just up to him and her, how they want to handle it. In the beginning stages of a relationship, especially, it's powerful stuff.
@Jamie05rhs It's like a lot of things. Depends on the context, environment, feelings each has for the other. If you/she make it nothing, it will be nothing. But it can be something.
@Jamie05rhs I know, you're very respectful. And maybe when some girl asked you to do it meant nothing, it was just practical.
But live a little, Jamie. You're going to miss out on fun, and flirtation, if you keep sticking so steadfastly to your honour... and hers. There is a line between, that is fun, and can make things happen.
@AmandaYVR I appreciate the encouragement. But I prefer to stay conservative in my behavior. I know there is a large grey area between myself and Urban Meyer, but I want to stay as far away from him as possible.
It actually depends on the person. Its usually my mother who zips me up if I'm not able to reach it 😂
If it is a guy I have like a huge crush on, I'd be blushing and my heart would be racing. BUT if it was my guy friend I'd be like: Just zip it up already! 🙄😂
That is a very old trick of the shy seductress. Show him a little bit of skin that he hasn't previously seen and watch his reaction. Perhaps some girls are innocent enough that this may be a genuine and simple request for assistance, but more likely it is an artifice of seduction.
I've had two girls do this, in the past 3 months (the long time differential isn't important), point is, I've had two girls do it. One girl, did it, talked to me for maybe a day after that, then all the sudden, unfollowed me, and hasn't talked to me since. I don't think I did or said anything wrong, so, I'm not sure why she did.
The other girl, happened last night. We're still talking for the moment, so, im hoping she continues to, as opposed to the other girl. While I realize that zipping up, isn't as "sexual" as "zipping down" would be, it's still a pretty intimate moment, because, you're essentially helping her put her clothes on. Women pride themselves in how they look. Any woman who tells you otherwise, is lying. So, if you're asked to help her look good/get dressed, you should feel pretty important to her, especially if she could have asked anybody else to do it, ANYBODY
@Tstrbrainer The biggie is in the middle of the night, woman see the hole in a dim lit room and go to sit… no seat. Cats and dogs getting into it. The whole spray/flush germ-launch debate, it looks better.. a few others.
@Tstrbrainer Oh, was just meaning the outcome of your choice would really depend on your woman’s opinion on the whole lid up or lid down debate. Some get pretty upset when their derrière hits the water in the bowl. Make your choice carefully.

Surely that's what "should" be going through their heads right? It's not like they've asked the waiter to zip them or asked a gay guy friend to zip them up. Right? 😀😯
If I'm not sleeping with him and I ask him to "zip me up" i would be paying attention to whether he is gentle/ rough/ patient so I can decide whether I want him to undo the same zipper later that night
usually both. If i didn't like the guy, i wouldn't ask that. Id only ask it if i genuenly need help with it or im really attracted and want to flirt/tease as well
Usually it's because I need help. I could probably do it myself with some twists and turns, but if he's available to lend a hand I like having him help out.
