How does female attraction work?

After spending some time on the internet understanding how the female mind interprets sexual desires, I have come to an understanding that women are not all that attracted to the male body, rather it's the status and other qualities like compassion and empathy that make him desirable. From this point of view I came to an conclusion that because a good male body raises a man's status in society women feel attracted to them, though in some cases women might feel attracted to body alone because of its aesthetics, but I believe that is not the case always.
I think women are actually more attracted to the female body in terms of physical attraction. your opinions on this would be helpful, thanks.

Yeah it is confusing if you want a finale conclusion, since women in the real world are individuals. At least that is my view/opinion on the matter.

The female gaze and the male gaze are drastically different. Most women what a partner with good qualities, ethics, and personality, physical attraction is important but it certainly isn't the most important.
