Why will some girls sleep with a taken guy if she's jealous of his girlfriend?

I've seen this quite often and have also heard of this happening. Some women will purposefully go after a taken guy simply because he has a girlfriend that she is jealous of in some way. They envy the girlfriend's life.

Why do they do this? Is it to prove something to themselves? Is it to hurt the guy's girlfriend on purpose? Is it because they want to emulate the girl they're jealous of?

My friend had this happen with her boyfriend. A girl who had always envied my friend tried to seduce her long-term boyfriend. She tried to break them up on purpose, but not because she actually wanted the guy for herself. It was because she wanted to hurt my friend.

Has this ever happened to you? Unfortunately I've heard of this happening way too often between women.

Women are probably attracted to taken men because if a woman is cheating she doesn't want to get caught. A taken guy would be less likely to out her because he also has something to lose. But sure, sometimes women want to intentionally wreck another woman's relationship also. And lastly, when a guy gives a woman sexual attention she feels/imagines that she's more valuable even tho it doesn't mean that at all. This is why you have women who look great but are complaining that they can't get a man. What they mean is that no man will take them seriously. It's a higher level/standard to get taken seriously.

i wouldn't go that far, but i would loveeee to emotionally hurt/ruin the marriage of a particular girl because of how she treated me and how it's so easy to get what she wants yet complains constantly. she's a bad person.

Because they wanna see if they can one-up the girl he's with. It's sick. Women who do this don't like themselves and they feel inferior in some way.

I had an ex-friend sleep with my boyfriends and I'll tell you the reason she gave to me: she told me that she wanted to feel like she was "on my level", and that she would feel "validated" if she could get the same guys as me. In the end she was just a ho though.
