I came across this study (Dove 2010 global study The Real Truth About Beauty) which said only 4% of women consider themselves beautiful, I thought to myself, that can't be right, surely not, there is so much beauty around me every single day. Maybe it's a psychological thing, I don't know, I have a primitive male brain. Anyway, girls, how do you see yourselves?
On some days, I feel pretty. On others, I feel down and nitpick every one of my “flaws” and insecurities. I felt very pretty today, maybe because I washed my hair yesterday and it looked voluminous and soft throughout today.
I've always wanted to be “perfect” like those celebrities you see on TV and covergirls on magazines.
I went with "meh" because I think I'm pretty average looks-wise. It doesn't bother me though, I'm not looking to be attractive to every man under the sun... and plenty clearly found me attractive enough to date!
Hell yeah! I'm amazing, with some perks here and there but that's okay
Dove always lines up a bunch of fat ugly women who are too loud and unrefined and then tells us how beautiful we're supposed to think they are. That's how they sell a lot of soap to fat ugly women.
