I disagree with this logic:

I would agree with that when it comes to showing TOO MUCH of yourself and showing too much skin and some semi nudity is involved.

To take it to the extreme of no one can even know what this human even looks like, you can't even see their face, their nose, their hair... etc. That is taking the concept to bizarre extremes.

I don't want my wife dressing too revealing or skimpy. She is special to me. I don't expect her to wear a wrap over her face or hair. Oh dear, someone saw my wife's face... they actually know what she looks like... it isn't special anymore. That is way over the top.

So technically women can see you without the “mask” I don’t know the proper term so they can see your face and your hair, but only women you trust and like. It's neutral. The woman may be beautiful or not, but her beauty is not shown, so we cannot say. The clothes as such are also just neutral.

While I respect the decision of a woman to wear what she wants, covering the face goes to far for me as it severely limits communication. We cannot see her facial expressions which can be as important as the words.

Here in Switzerland, the hijab is generally seen as an acceptable choice for Muslim women. It's fine if she does not want to show her hair and figure. Still, we need to see the face for her to take part in Swiss life as an equal participant.

However, an ex of mine is muslim and I only got to see her wear a hijab in person once (I did get to see pictures though). I absolutely loved it and thought it was beautiful, since I felt like it showed her embracing her culture/religion. I always liked seeing her be proud of being muslim despite not being religious myself. It's just a cool thing to see.

So I do appreciate seeing muslims embrace that part of them, since it's not as common to see these days in the United States.

As a Christian I don't see it as necessary but I respect that Muslim women cover themselves up completely to express their value and how it's so valuable that they only show themselves to their husband, they have good color designs for it as well, which i didn't even know existed, not to mention that if they are covered you can only fall for their personality which takes away the chances of someone just going for the woman just for physical appearance, it has several benefits, I think the whole idea of it is beautiful, and I feel like I can actually create some color designs for it as well since I'm creative and I can probably come up with a unique and luxurious design for em, I have sketched some designs for clothing before so I think I can work with this, if that's against what you believe then forget I said it, no designs 🙃

I don't have any problem with women dressing very modestly however I don't dubscribe to the full face covering as there is nothing beautiful about it and this is what criminals typically do they hide there faces. There truly is nothing beautiful about a head to toe shapeless black covering. It seems that this ultra-conservative trend in Saudi Arabia and among Salafist Sunni Muslims is a recent development. If such practices were proscribe in the Quran, they would have been practiced by Muslims for the past 1300 years, not just the last several decades.
