Why do they think I’m an idiot?

My friends think I’m an idiot for not making a move on a female friend “Kacy”. Here’s the situation Kacy and I have known each other for awhile it’s always been just friends and hanging out ( we’ve been platonic) neither of us have made a move until Friday night. Friday we’re at a party and she’s a little buzzed I’m standing up talking to my friends she comes up behind me and wraps her arms around me and starts moving to the music we start dancing no big deal. Later in the night I’m sitting down and she walks to me and sits on my lap and just puts her arm around me and just starts whispering in my ear ( at this point I know she’s had a little too much to drink) I make her drink some water just to help her sober up a bit. She tells me “ I’ve never met a guy like you before” “You’ve never once tried to make a move on me or make comments” “You’re a great guy and I want you”. She gets up and my pants are a little damp from where she was sitting. My friends that were there think that I’m an idiot for not making a move but I couldn’t especially not in that scenario. And I hate that they don’t get why I didn’t make a move. The rest of the night I was “babysitting” making sure she and some other friends were drinking enough water and eating also I was designated shoe/purse holder lol. I genuinely care and have love for this girl.

Lol it wasn’t pee it was water she had jumped in the pool a littler earlier that day. That night was a mess. I got reassurance on why I don’t drink.
