Why do girls think it's ok to say things to guys, but do not like the same things said to them?

Had a girl who would constantly throw my friend in my face as if she wanted to get with him. I always took it as she could be telling the truth or could be trying to make me jealous, but I never lost my cool and responded to it.

Finally, I made the choice that if she did it again, I would give her some of her own medicine. When she did it again, I let her know of a girl that I would love to sleep with. She asked who, but I did not reveal a name.

She did it again some weeks later and as I was about to respond, she covered my mouth to stop me saying that I sound serious and she's just joking.

Why do girls think it's ok to say things to guys, but do not like the same things said to them?

Women live in the double standard Zone. I do the same thing. If a woman comes at me she is going to be very surprised when I set her back on her heels. Women think they are smarter now too because the media has told them so.

Funny thing is I let her do it enough until she was comfortable that I wouldn't strike and then I pounced. I said it with conviction because I really knew I could screw the other chick.

But honestly, as a man, I felt like I had to come down a couple of flights to get to her level. They're like dealing with children bro.
