Why do some women lie that they don't care about their looks?

I saw some woman here who said that they don't care about the way they look, and to me that is the definition of hipocricy. How can someone especially a woman say that they don't care about how they look? Even me as a guy care about my looks This statement comes from beautiful woman only.

It's like some woman fear the backlash of society so much if they say "yes I want to and love to look beautiful and good", for being called shallow. Is it because of toxic religion, their upbringing, or fear of society? Every normal person wants to look good in my opinion, and nobody wants to look like poop. Beauty, and youthfullness also comes with good health and being able to do everything as a healthy person can.

Because they dont wanna sound like brats. Its the same when women say they prefer men that are fat and shorter than them. Thats equally as true as a straight man wanting a woman with a beard and a huge D. Women lie about not caring about their looks because they dont want people to think they try too hard. Most women want to make it seam like they are natrually super attractive and they always get hit on without trying etc.. Everyone cares about their appereance to some point. Which is a good thing as long it has a balance.

Well mainly because women put a lot of value in their looks. And its easy for ugly women to get sex from men. They use that in a way to make them think they are valueble and therefor lie to themselves.

Sometimes its easier to lie to yourself if people let you get away with it. Its good in the moment but will only make it worse in the end. Its like if you are stomach sick and choose to drink soda to remove the taste from your tongue. It will feel better in the moment but it will just make you more sick.

There are CLEARLY women and men in the world that don't care about their looks. We've all seen these people somewhere and thought to ourselves, "when is the last time you showered???" Some people just don't care to fit in with your idea or the worlds idea of what is beautiful. They may feel like they have no one to impress, and by your own admission, "these women must be beautiful to not care," which in actuality proves that they aren't lying. Since you don't own the rights to what is beautiful, that could be any woman out there.

Yeah i really dont tbh i mean ill do my hair nicely but other than that it doesn't bother me what people think about me. I just ignore any nasty comments. If i worried too much about what people think about the way i looked it would make my anxiety worse

Some of us are past that point of being insecure about how we look. Like I'm starting to get to that point cuz I just don't care about my weight/wearing makeup/dressing nice anymore. There isn't a reason to look nice like this is how I look naturally so why try changing it.
