Why would a girl NOT believe in love? She didn't until she met me and now says "I love you"?

My girlfriend didn't believe in "love" before me so I was wondering why someone would say or believe that?

She is more logical so maybe she just thinks it's some BS thing. And she may have gone through a hoe phase and just had sex with whoever if she hadn't met me it seems. But now with me it's her first time saying "I love you" and believing in love with me. But I still wonder why she didn't believe in it and what her I love you means as I'm sure it is meaningful since she didn't believe in love before?

Maybe she was hurt before. Generally, persons who don't believe in love have experienced a bad relationship or witness close loved ones like their parents or close friends having one, which lead them to question: what is love anyway, and the trauma lead them to believe they don't need love, therefore they don't believe in it. It took her time to trust someone to finally been able to say: I love you. So the fact that you know she didn't say that before and now she's being upfront with you, means she decided to take her shot, and trusted you're the right person not to break her heart, so you better Cherish her.
