She doesn't seem interested in talking on lunch break?

I like this shy, introverted girl at work. Sometimes our breaks match up and we're in the break room at the same time. Problem is, she doesn't really initiate any conversation aside "hey" and "cya", and maybe a "how are you". She does sometimes seem happy to see me, with smiles and stuff, but doesn't seem too interested in having a conversation where it would be fitting.

We have conversed abit during breaks before though, and she does add to the conversation a little, with questions and such, but not much.

Is it just because she's shy? or not interested maybe?

Sounds like me. I’m shy and when I’m at work I’m just trying to get through the day, and I usually don’t want to talk to people on lunch. Or, it’s not that I don’t want to. But I’m shy and it causes me anxiety. I will be friendly and say hi, bye to not seem too weird. If you want to pursue her just remember to be very very patient with someone like that, and little things go a long way.

Don't waste your time. Find someone talkative and that shows interest.
