Help. Why guys don't admit they have feeling for a girl?

Is it that bad admitting your own feelings for a girl you can trust and won't play you? is it a problem of ego-boosting? Everyone knows we like each other and they make fun of us because we try unpurpousely to avoid each other. I tried to talk but doesn't work.

To answer the title-question. Because 90% of the time, its onesided and after him admitting the feelings, the girl starts ghosting him. Most guys can't take that risk. It has nothing to do with ego but with the fear of being rejected, ghosted or humiliated.

Yes, but let's suppose one of the two declared the feelings and the other one refused and acted like a dump and not understanding. Why would he/she act like this?

No idea. Might be he/she thinks the other person is joking (wouldn't be the first time) or he/she doesn't have feelings for the other. Are you sure he/she even has feelings for you?

In your question you also mentioned this "you can trust and won't play you". Trust is a rare thing, especially in dating. Most people rather go for short-term fun, only sex or rather cheat on the other than have something significant. This might also be a reason why he didn't say anything because maybe he got cheated on or played in the past. Just speculation

In my own experience. Even when the girl "admitted" to liking me. Or at least pretended, when I admitted mine she blocked me and never spoke again because she only pretended to see how I'll react. Other person did even worse. I admitted my feelings after she pretended, it got screenshotted and sent around on Snapchat to tons of people. So yeah trust is very rare.

Yes, I am sure. And I cannot doubt it because all the people around me understood better than us we like each other. I feel so bad about this situation, I really care about this guy and afraid that just because of negative people we block something positive.

I also had a long bullying past when I was in middle school and struggled with myself so for me is difficult to trust people but I don't know why with this guy I felt safe and myself.

Unfortunately, now he moved on, I respect his boundaries and don't want to intrude. Anyway, O am going away soon so I can escape - nut never forget- all this situation.
Bad people always ruin the positive-side and I am sad for this.
