Why did she unblock after a year?

Realized my ex unblocked me because of the suggested people on tic tok so I check all my socials & what would you know unblocked after a year, I block her & that was that, but I’m curious why? Last I heard she still with her new guy & to be honest I don’t think he’ll appreciate her unblocking me lmaooo! what do you guys think? thanks.

Honestly bro, who knows what goes through chicks' minds sometimes? My best guess though:

She was probably just cruising down memory lane on social media late at night when the feels hit. Maybe things aren't as shiny and new with the rebound dude as she thought. Could be she started wondering what you've been up to, miss seeing your face pop up.

Or it could be she's feeling nostalgic bout the good times from back in the day and wanted to check in discreetly. See if you still have her added and might be down for a friendly catch up.

Either way, I wouldn't read too much into it. She's the one who's still with another guy so her move makes no sense. I'd just say ignore it and keep it pushin. No need to unblock or message - let her wonder if you even noticed!

From personal experience, we do that if you're finally so removed from our lives that we can safely unblock you bc we know that we won't have to fear anything coming our way. Whether that might be messages, pics of your social media etc. There are exceptions but in many cases, it merely means that we're over you and any hard feelings that led to the hardblock.
