Why do girls give your their number without you asking just to not text back or text back late?

My dating struggles basically this is usually how it goes ok-great conversation she flirts I flirt a little or just be cooling she gives me her number I don’t ask for it I text her 5 messages later literally 5(3 from me 2 from her) she either starts replying extra slow like hours to days or no reply at all

If girls are giving you their number, count yourself among the lucky few. If they text back late... just presume they're human and had other things to worry about in the universe... then answered you as soon as they could. If they didn't answer... tough... move on to the person who knows how to respect your time.

I mean don’t get me wrong replying like 1-3 hours later nothing is wrong with that in my eyes but I’m talking about a whole 24 to days later with one sentence not even saying my bad on the late reply like what was the point of giving your number out

Baring an emergency, I generally agree with you... My opinion comes from working with a lot of guys who get visibly twitchy with their phones on Mondays bc they met some girl over the weekend... I figure it's not worth being anxious over. in my opinion, within a 72-hour window I think is still normal because sometimes sh** happens and someone gets overwhelmed then catches up with their social stuff.

If it's a regular thing with that person, though, then I'd think something's up and not bother with them again.
