Girls, would you approach a guy at the beach?

I was at the beach the other day and the weather was rainy. I saw two girls swimming and decided to get in too. They swam over to be and spent about half an hour with me. We didn't do much except swim around and then both left after saying bye. Were they just bored or was one of them interested?

Yep I am a big beach goer. I have a jet ski and spend most of the summer days at the beach. I approach people all the time. It really isn't a big deal. Maybe they have a new Sea Doo or pwc I haven't seen and I am just interested. The one guy (Tom) that I see constantly I didn't know from a hole in the wall. Years ago I noticed him always on his ski. Like as much as I am. So one day I approached him and just started chatting about this and that. Now we are friends. We don't communicate anywhere outside of the beach but we see each other constantly. So it doesn't mean that they were interested but more that they were friendly. Nothing abnormal about it.
