What is the attraction to shy, innocent girls?

Every guy I have ever gone out with has mentioned the fact I am innocent. The guy I'm dating now actually tries to make me blush every time we hang out because "thinks it's cute." I know girls who go for the "bad boy" for excitement or whatever, but guys seem to look for the "innocent girl." Why?

I could write full encyclopedias on why many guys are attracted to shy and innocent girls, but I only have three thousands characters and I shall do my best to spare you the torture. Lol

I'll start off with a quote by St. Gregory the Great "When a girl ceases to blush, she has lost the most powerful charm of her beauty."

There are many reasons for this ranging from her not being a whore, to being the kind of girl that you could be proud of and bring to your parents and not have to be ashamed that you're with her, and so many other things.

Guys (not all guys, of course) generally tend to go after innocent girls because, deep within a man's being, he longs for the femininity of a woman. I know, personally, the more innocent and shy a girl is the more of a man it makes me feel. A girl who trash talks you and is vulgar doesn't make me, and I'm sure a lot of other guys, feel very good. "Butchy" girls are more like guys and aren't exactly as attractive as life long partners.

I suppose the deepest reasoning behind it is too hard for men to even describe because often they don't know what it is and they are also not good with "emotional" reasoning. They aren't as acquainted with their "insides" so when they get all fuzzy feelings on the inside when seeing a girl blush, they don't know how to explain it other than the best thing to them and can't do much else than smile. When I'm with a shy innocent girl or I see one talking to someone else, I have to turn away because I realize, my smile is getting so large it's going to tear my face. LOL

A lot of guys don't want the "excitement" of a bad girl, but, rather, want the girl they can marry, see themselves raising kids together, and see themselves as equals instead of as competitors like most tomboyish girls. I know I, personally, could love a girl really well and treat her great, but a girl who's innocent and shy, when you go to bed at night, morning just can't come fast enough for you so you can do something for her to make her happy.

And like I said, I could get into much deeper reasons, and many smaller more complicated ones, but I won't bother you with them. Just, they act the way that guys see attractive in woman as being feminine and, in the process, it makes guys feel more masculine and fall even more in love with the girl instead of feeling like they're hanging out with another guy when they're with a butch/tomboyish girl. It's a totally different kind of relationship to a guy.

To add to the 6th paragraph, it's also true the morning can't come fast enough where the guy just looks at the girl beside him and just want to gaze at her until she wakes up. :)

Many guys are attracted to girls who seem "pure" or "innocent" because they feel like those girls are less likely to cheat on them, or have a history that he doesn't like (slutty, etc.), and a few get off on being the one to "corrupt" those "innocent" girls.
