Is it Acceptable for my Girlfriend to Stay the Night at a Guy Friend's House?

My girlfriend (20 years old, dating for 3 years) is staying the night at her friend James's house. It makes me feel very uneasy that she is staying the night at a 16 year old kid's house.

They usually stay awake until 2 or 3 in the morning, supposedly playing board games and stuff... I don't know, but I just don't feel comfortable with her doing this.

She has done this several times. She did not invite me to go with her. I just have a feeling that if they're not already "up to something", that they might be in the future.

Am I right to feel that this is not acceptable behavior for someone in a committed relationship? Should I talk to her about it, or just let it slide? It really eats me up every time she spends the night with this guy...

Personally this is weird with a capital W. Unless it is in another state and she would have far to travel. If it's just the other side of town though weird. I have friends that act like this is okay, but I think somethings should not be shared with friends. They spend tons of time together doing couples things and even pick out each others clothes, weird. Just don't think it's normal to have that kind of closeness with someone unless they are a romantic interest. I can see hangin out and stuff but spending the night, REALLY I couldn't be involved with someone that thought this was okay.

I think if you've never had a problem with trusting her before, you shouldn't have to worry now. Guys and girls can just be friends.

I spend the night at my best friends house all the time. My boyfriend doesn't like it either but stuff will never happen between us. He's like a brother to me, and I think he's secretly gay.

When a girl friend zones a guy, that's all it'll ever be. You have nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Confront her about her and talk to her (calmly and in a mature, understanding way). Otherwise you'll never know for sure and it will just keep bothering you more and more until your emotions come out.

No. This is inappropriate, I believe. If she get's all defensive, she's likely up to something. Be prepared to move on.

Ask her about this, its not mormal that she sleeps over at a guy friend's place...and I'm one of those people who believe a Guy and a Girl can never be just friends...it will be somethng more than innocent friendship.

That sounds really messed up. I'd confront her about it. If you feel like you can't trust her, it's probably better to just break up.

If she has any interest in him then I think you may have a problem. If she doesn't then it should be ok
