If you don't love yourself how do you expect anyone else to love you so much more than love love's it self. we're all beautiful in our own way and everyone is good at something.
i 'body-shame' my underweight kid sister bc i don't want her to get some awful disease bc she didn't eat as a teen. she needs to put on a little weight, for her health.
we also 'body shame' obese people bc gluttony is a sin, gross, costs society, costs billions in extra healthcare, and reduces thr dupply of bangable women with too many whales.
If you're only looking for a bang , you don't deserve bangable women. Lust is a sin too so stop with your religious crap. And you're not helping your sister at all. She most likely will be fine without your comments which would only lead to her cutting and and feeling shitty about herself. If your sister is underweight then it's probably do to genetics so you really aren't doing anything but bully her. If she has an eating disorder, you definitely aren't doing shit but making things worse.
I'm grown up in a medical environment with family and have worked at medical facilities and studied psychology. You honestly aren't doing anything worth it. If anything, you should be loving to your sister. If yore truly "concerned", change how you talk to her.
I suspect my kid sister is underweight because she exists on a diet of fresh air, determination, and roughly 500 calories a day. So I am on her case to actually eat a decent amount every day, and I explain to her what awful things might afflict her if she goes through her teens barely eating. She actually has been eating normal meals lately, so...
And read the Song of Solomon. No one is singing about the wonderful personality of the beloved, or how "She's beautiful on the inside." It compliments her hair, her legs, her breasts, her eyes, etc. Physical beauty is important in a woman, especially since a woman's beauty is her single strongest factor to getting a good husband.
Flat fact is, being medically underweight or being obese are both awful for one's health, and should not be accepted or promoted. According to Cancer Research UK, obese women, for instance, have a 40% higher risk of developing seven types of cancer vs healthy weight women.
Being obese and under weight due to unhealthy habits are bad, but there's a huge difference between shaming someone and generally showing concern for their health. If she really has been starving herself then yes, she needs help but rude remarks aren't help. I've dealt with eating disorders and helped people through them. It's not something that's gonna change with rude remarks. I'm glad you care for yourself. Also, she probably is fine for her age. I'm technically underweight for my height but not for my age.
@Laura1995 Thanks! I think I was the odd one out. It seems like everyone in my family just stores fat everywhere but they all have thighs too. While all the women on both sides of my fam are short and thick, I happened to be tall with a high metabolism. Hopefully, I can go vegan when I'm finally an adult and move out.
You're welcome!! My dad was really tall and skinny, and so is my sister. I'm average, but taller than my mother. I was also skinny at one point. But eh, that's the past :D You want to go vegan. Smart choice :) Are your parents not letting you?
@Laura1995 it's just me and mom and she really isn't. My mom refuses to eat healthy. She only gets fast food and pizza which is why I kind of stopped eating a lot. I ate all the fruit and healthy stuff for the most part so I got stuck with whatever she bought. Now I'm my grandparents and have some better stuff. it isn't super healthy but it's all homecooked and it's what I ate when I was super skinny.
It's hard when you have a parent that won't eat healthy. Do you think you can convince her? Like say "I really care about your health. Do you think you can start making healthier choices?" I'm glad that you're choosing to eat healthy. Pizza and fast food isn't really "unhealthy", as long as you don't at it all the time. I didn't have a choice because my mom was broke at the time. Do you think you can make some money and buy your own healthy foods? Or eat your grandparent's food?
@Laura1995 It's the only thing eaten and I hate pizza for the most part. Fast food is disgusting to me too for the most part. My mom won't listen and I'm with my grandparents for the summer so obviously I'll be eating their food but we live on opposite coasts. & I just turned 16, so I may try to get a job but probably won't be able to.
Most 16 year olds are able to get jobs. Where I live at, you have to be no younger than 14 and no older than 21. Fast food can be disgusting, but it depends on what you buy. They have healthy options (grilled chicken, salads, etc) so not all of it is unhealthy. I'm sorry that your mom won't listen :/ I really hope she realizes what she's doing to her health.
Obese people really need a healthier diet, and overly skinny girls need an actual diet rather than some corn flakes and 10 grams of yoghurt, but otherwise yes, I agree.
Thank you so much for this take even though a lot of people are missing the point judging by the comments so I assume these are the ones that have body shamed and will continue to do so and it is sad.
You're welcome and thank you so much for reading!! Yeah, a lot of people are. Like I'm not saying to just be satisfied and love being overweight for people to judge, but some people just want everyone to be slim.
"Your value doesn't decrease based on others' inability to see your worth"
False. That's literally the definition of low value.
Some people are more valuable than others because they're smarter, better looking, more athletic, taller, have better eyesight, etc. It's genetic. Deal with it.
no man is handsome if he doesn't have muscles and money. i don't like girls very much yet I'm not gay. too bad... i pity the girl who falls for me if she actually exists
I couldn't find a cartoon picture with guys of different sizes. All of the other pictures I found of guys had them near the same size; I really wanted to include diversity in male size.

Thanks but there are people who are too backwards to see their self worth and make the most of it. I admire your optimism.
Thanks for reading! Yeah, I've always been an optimist.
Great article! Glad that it encompassed everyone and not just women also.
Thanks for reading and I definitely wanted to make sure it addressed all people because its so easy for men to become neglected as well.
Yes, very well said. You made every point that needed to be made.
This take was wonderful. :') It made me feel better about myself. Thank you so much for sharing!
You're welcome! (:
This just made my day thank you very much for posting this!

Won't be able to because of schedule and summer plans** @Laura1995
Ohhhh I see. Maybe you can try a part-time job after you go back to school?
awww this post is really nice and touchy, i think that we all need it <3 <3 <3
Obese people really need a healthier diet, and overly skinny girls need an actual diet rather than some corn flakes and 10 grams of yoghurt, but otherwise yes, I agree.
If you read, I said people should focus on being healthy but a lot of super skinny people have genetics working in their favor.
Nope
Still gonna train and work hard. I'm too fat. It's disgusting. I don't need six pack abs, I'm going for function over form
This take doesn't say anything about not exercising. It actually says to be healthy if you actually read it.
I did,
still, I'm not accepting my body for what it is now
That's your choice. (: Do whatever makes you happy. Just don't criticize others.
Agree my friend. We need agoge, again.
Thank you so much for this take even though a lot of people are missing the point judging by the comments so I assume these are the ones that have body shamed and will continue to do so and it is sad.

That's all wonderful, but the fat chicks are causing global warming by absorbing so much infrared radiation.
OMG.
you worked really hard on this is see. but dont worry i scrolled over the pictures slower than usual.
Yea, I spent a good amount of time on it. Thanks lol.
One of the most beautifully written myTake.
Thank you so much!!!
We can talk about this all day but it doesn't change the obesity rate.
no man is handsome if he doesn't have muscles and money. i don't like girls very much yet I'm not gay. too bad... i pity the girl who falls for me if she actually exists
I mean, damn. I used to be pretty insecure. I totally agree with this <3
It's good to except yourself and your body for how you are, but don't expect me to accept you Romantically, especially if you refuse to improve.
Great take but one doubt why girls are in bikini but guys are nude.
I couldn't find a cartoon picture with guys of different sizes. All of the other pictures I found of guys had them near the same size; I really wanted to include diversity in male size.
O... okok
Beautiful take, thanks for writing!
Thanks for reading!
You are welcome 😊😊
