So i noticed recently that men take a good deal of bashing on this site and I wanted to create this quick Take about some of the things I adore in men. Now, I am more of a traditional women, so feminists beware, buhahahahahaha. Most of my points below come from the love of my life and a guy who has been there during my darkest times...love you guys :)
Anyway lets get started: (No particular order)
1. Their protective nature - I mean you guys are freaking awesome (you are physically stronger). I can't even begin to count the number of times guys stepped in before i could get hurt. I do consider myself a strong women, but when you guys step in to be protective at the right moments, my heart melts. <3
2. Speak their mind - Although this is debatable, honestly from my interactions with guys, unless he's trying to flirt, most guys just speak their minds and I love that. Even if you guys talk rubbish at times, what I adore is the fact that you speak it from your mind, unaltered.
3. Confidence - Sure not even guy is confidant, but I notice when you guys make up your minds to do something, you often follow it to the end. Sometimes it might come of as arrogant but most times I love how men can be so confidant in voicing and doing the things they want to do.
4. Their emotional softer side <3 - Growing up as a little girl, I always believed men had no emotions and held this opinion for years until i met my SO. I would probably say that this is one of the best parts about men, when a guy begins to open up to you because he really loves you, he will show this softer side to you and its just so adorable and cute. It melts my heart every time he shows this side.
5. Friendships - He has true and close friendships: he keeps a tight brotherhood around him and understands “iron sharpens iron as man sharpens man.” I sometimes envy the friendships men have and most of my guy friends have been so awesome of the years, always being their for me.
6. Taking chances - Going where no man has gone before. Many guys take more chances and risks, and often push technology forward by doing dangerous and "not by the book" things. Most of the guys around me, tend to be in their garages building stuff and testing things, blowing up household items, fixing stuff, messing about and having so much fun.

- I love how some men make me feel feminine and like a women
- Being the little spoon, fitting my petite body into his
- When a man wipes my tears and holds me
- Holding their big warm hands
- Runs his hand through my hair
- My SO coming home from work to help me in the kitchen
- When you look into a guys eyes and you start to loose yourself
- I love when you guys help out with physically intensive tasks
- Most guys do all the jobs that most of us would never consider doing
- I love when a man tells a woman how lucky he is to have found her (just so you know i do the same as well)
- I love when a man puts his hand on the woman’s lower back, as if to say, "I’m here for you if you need me."
- and off course, having sex :)
- oh, and I love that guys do, on occasions open doors, its a lovely gesture guys, i don't expect you guys to do it, but when you do, i always turn around, smile and say thank you.
SO THANK YOU guys, dudes, chaps, men, boys for being the awesome gender that you are and here's one girl that loves you all very much. xx :) So keep on being the good men i have come to know.
