If he is always ending the conversation then maybe he is up to something. He could be low key talking to someone else or just not have interest. The boy I liked used too do the same thing. I would blow up his phone lol. Eventually, I lost interest & stopped caring. If he reads your messages too then forget him. Don't respond let him text you first sometimes. He will realize how much he misses you after a while.
If he says only a one word reply then stop texting. I ain't got no time for dat.
I do this sometimes. Usually I am multi-tasking and do not want to be rude and say I am too busy to talk. A short answer usually means he is busy. A little piece of advice... When he does that, put your phone down for awhile until you get the "Hey! Where did you go?" text. Be a little hard to get. Don't give the impression that you hover around your phone 24/7.
