My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 9 months. Everything has been great up until now and he even tells me he wants to marry me eventually. I know he has been going through some things with his family and he hates his job, but he's beginning to act distant and it's really starting to bother me. He usually calls me a lot, even just to say goodnight sometimes. He hasn't called me to actually talk to me in about a month. He hardly says he loves me anymore. And for the past few days he has barely talked to me. I am the one making an effort to try and see him. I know he's busy with work and he has a lot of stress dealing with his family right now, but I just don't know what to do or say. It's been over a week since we've spent any time together. This bothers me especially because he works about 3 minutes down the street from where I live, so even when I asked if I could come and visit him on his lunch break the other day he told me not to because he was angry that he was having to work at a job he hates.
His last day there is on Sunday, so I was thinking of just not contacting him at all until then to see if he just needs to cool off from his job, but on the other hand, I think it's ridiculous that we've been dating for this long and he's keeping me completely out of the loop of what's going on with him.
I'm very paranoid becase when we first started dating he ended up pushing me away because of his family issues and broke things off with me. When he came back apologizing I gave him a second chance and he promised and showed that he wanted to keep me in his life. I'm so afraid things are going to end again.
What should I do? This might sound a little dumb, but I know what time he gets off work tonight and I was thinking of going up to his job and waiting outside for him so we can talk. I'm going insane not knowing if he's doing all of this because of me and I just need to know.
