Did my crush lose interest?

This guy I like always used to make eye contact with me whenever we walked by each other. We don't know each other, but for a few months we just kept looking at each other back and forth. Then we went on winter break for a month, came back and when I saw him for the first time I was kind of too scared to look at him again, because I thought he might have lost interest. However, I did look at him and when he did seem to notice I looked away and pretended it never happened. Now, he passed by me again, and I didn't see him until he already almost passed me. He didn't look at me, he just kept looking down and then back up, and he probably knew it was me because it was late and it was just me and my friend. So did he lose interest? If he did, can I regain his interest (because I still like him)? Sorry it's so long I'm just wondering. Thanks!

I know exactly how you feel... sometimes after a holiday my crush totally ignores me... but if he sees me looking and watching for him for a while, he starts all the staring and loving again... so if you want to know if he still likes you... start looking for him.. try to get eyecontact and quickly look away... and all... see if he doesn't start looking at you again..

Haha I'm glad to know so many other people go through the same thing. It kind of seemed like he noticed me during dinner, because I was looking in his direction but when I made eye contact he didn't make it, so idk. I just really want to get to know him lol. So what happened with him?

He may think you don't like him anymore because of all these games you're playing. Go talk to him. I had a silly high school crush with this guy and I talked to him before winter break started. After the break, even though I introduced myself to him, he acted cold. I never knew or found out what happened for that reason, but if you like him, start talking to him and see where things go from there.

How did you start talking to him? That's where my problem comes in, I just can't seem to think of something to say without it seeming awkward because if he didn't like me, then I don't want to throw myself out there. Later though, he did see me talking to another guy (not flirting just friendly chat) and he looked over a few times so maybe he is interested. I think I made it clear that I liked him when he saw me talking to the other guy, since I smiled and looked at him.

Wow! this is the exact situation I went through with this guy at my University!

when you walk past him, look straight ahead with open confidence . If he looks at you, smile at his direction but not directly in his eyes. That will prob get him to look at you but not be too nervous to look away.

Ok thanks. Yeah when we came back from break, I looked in his direction but not directly at him, and I had a small smile on my face (if that makes sense lol) so he could see I was a happy confident person and I don't know if he noticed or not. And before, I made eye contact and smiled, even though I was already smiling at something so I don't think that counts lol. Don't you think if he was interested this long he would've approached me? What happened with the guy at yout school?

That's the problem guys are extremely clueless. He should have approached you and he needs to know that. anyhow I agree with the above you should say hey and if your a good conversationalist think of something you have in common. but if he doesn't respond and tries makes you feel dumb just abruptly walk away like you don't have time for his mess. its obviously his own insecurity.

i haven't seen him lately because I'm only part time this semester but ill let you know if I see him again ;)

Haha I agree. They never make sense. I just don't want to approach him if he isn't interested. Yeah usually once a conversation is going, I can talk forever, but it's the introduction, and starting a random conversation that is the problem for me. He is also always with his friends or walking past me, so it's hard to find an opportunity. Oh know, well I hope you do see him again soon :) Good luck to you!

OMG I'm so happy you asked a question like this. This is exactly how I felt around this girl for a while, until I waited too long and she got a boyfriend :/ But ours lasted over 6 months. I thought it was over after the first two weeks, but ill bet he is just as nervous as you. But you, being the girl, can either approach him or try to get him to approach you by isolating yourself.

Haha, yeah I'm just frustrated because I'm really shy and he seems sort of shy, or quiet and reserved and he is always with his friends. Sometimes I am eating by myself which gives him some opportunity, except that he's with his friends again... lol but I'm glad to know there are others out there. Thanks :)

Some girls are just extremely flirty and maybe he got the sense that you have that personality. That's what I think in my current situation at least. If you like him tell him. Wouldn't hurt anyone...
