Will a guy drop everything to be with the one he loves?

This can go for men and women. Its important that I know what it takes for a guy who is the type that always checks out women and says he's not ready for a relationship and is always looking for better. I think that a guy does this when he is afraid of commitment. But if you meet a girl that you come to really love, will you drop all women and fooling around just to be with her? Even if she's not perfect like you want, like a super model, but she makes you so happy, you have such a great connection, and she has the best personality you've found in a women so far. When do you finally get to the point when its finally enough?

I dated a girl for 3 years and over that time period I grew to love like I had never loved before... That feeling was the most amazing and intense thing I've ever experienced. I was always a player, girls never meant much to me in life ever.. but she was my best friend and love of my life. I would have died for her if the situation had arose and never regretted it. Needless to say, her social advancement ultimately was a dominant factor in us breaking up... I still haven't recovered and it's been nearly a year...

Its ok, I got what you were saying and that's all that matters. The guy I'm dating is a player and can't seem to let go of the fact that he's very good at getting women. almost all the women he picks up mean nothing to him, but he's grown to care about me a lot. He's even told me that he loved me. Our relationship hasn't gotten old yet and its been 4 months. It doesn't seem long, but for a guy that gets tired easily, it says a hell of a lot.

I'm a reformed player. I cheated on everyone I ever dated honestly. Then I met my ex.. I fell so hard in love and promised I'd never cheat. I don't have a problem getting women, but I was convinced I had the right one. Just keep him interested, express your love, and don't have a negative outlook! If he says he loves you and means it, he won't cheat.

The thing is that were dating, but were not officially boyfriend and girlfriend. So its not like if he sees someone else that I can really say anything. I just have to be patient and let the feelings between us grow so that he will eventually get to the point that he really does love me and will give up all the others. I feel like it can get to that point, I just can't wait forever. I guess if I eventually leave and he doesn't call back, then I will have my answer.

Wait wait wait, it's been 4 months.. he tells you that he loves you, yet you have no title? I'd work on that and establish some boundaries or I promise you'll get hurt over this.

Well its not like I don't have a plan. We have fun together, we get along really well, we think on the same level, we argue but can't help cuddling or laughing afterword, and we have a ton of things in common.... So I figure if I stick around long enough for him to really care or possibly fall in love, and then take it away, he will see how much he really loves me and not let me go. I feel like people like this need time and patients. If not then I will have to end it for good.

Well, its hard to say "everything", but your premise is correct.

If a man (I emphasize man, here) decides that he wants to be with you, nothing short of an act of God will keep him from you. Even then, that probably wouldn't be enough.

If you have to analyze him and his "intentions", he's not that into you. End of story.

When does a man finally get to that point? It's different for everyone. That's like asking a woman when does she decide to stop playing games with men.
