What height do most guys prefer on a girl?

Question

Its come to my attention that guys are supposedly attracted to girls more around the height of 5'2 and 5'4. Why? OR if I've heared a false statement id love to hear your opinion on the matter :) thanks

Guys I know have all kinds of different preferences in girl's heights - but they also almost never exclusively follow those preferences or limit themselves to them. Height for most men is a minor issue at best.

For me, I tend towards petite "fun-size" girls - but I've dated plenty of girls who were much taller than that, because the girl was awesome and being taller than 5'4" wasn't going to cause me to pass up a great girl.

My buddy prefers "Amazon" girls - if he sees a girl who is close to 6' or more, he can't help but try to talk to her. Still, he has dated much shorter girls before.

I know height is a big factor for a lot of GIRLS with the guys they date, but guys just don't see height as a huge issue - except that most guys prefer to be taller than the girl. Since that's usually going to happen anyway, it's rarely an issue.

I don't think that there is universal height preference, guys usually want a girl who is shorter then them, and girls usually want a guy who is taller then them.

I don't think dudes care much about height as long as the girl is attractive. Girls tend to focus more on height than guys. Most guys probably just want someone who's shorter than them, that's all.

Majority probably are... Yet, I'm 5'10 and have had quite a few boyfriends. HMMMM.  The last 4 guys were- 6'1, 5'11, 6'3, and 6'2.5 Some men still luff an Amazon like me. <3 :*

Guys don't seem to care all that much as long as you're attractive. I'm 5'7" and I get tons of interest.

I don't think guys have a particular requirement. I would prefer a tall girl, 5'7" or up, but it's totally negotiable and unimportant. Minimum might be 5'2". The guy's own height is a factor, of course. A short guy would likely be more okay with a short girl. I am 6'1".

Guys prefer smaller girls for the same reasons girls prefer taller guys. Its all biological influenced.
That being said as long as she isn't taller than him its nowhere near a big deal nor a dealbreaker.

Personally I prefer smaller, because it enhances the girls physical attributes like hips and breasts. Its a bit of an optical illusion and helps showcasing my favourite bodyshapes (pear and hourglass) a lot. Also it creates a sense of protective instincts towards her.

At least two inches smaller than me, and not more than 10 inches smaller than me, I'm 6 feet tall so that would be 5'2 to 5'10. This is going to be different for taller or shorter guys, so there's no fixed ideal.

it depends more on the individual. also men are less susceptible to media influence and enforced beauty standards. the beauty industry has been trying to make men metrosexual for decades and it only caught up in the 90's but only for men with highly disposable incomes.

Some guys like short some like tall. There's much less consistency in what men like height wise vs what women like height wise. On top of that height doesn't tend to be as big s factor for men as women in how they pick a partner.

There seems to be some regional trends with for example tall girls being a little more popular in Northern Europe, short in North America etc.

I like tall girls (5'4 - 5'6), so that they can match my height which is (5'11 - 6)
but never had chance in my life till now!! I am unlucky with this, never been into relationship with any tall girl :D!!
It feels awkward to walk with a short girl because of my own height :(.

Height should never be an issue, although way too tall or short may be awkward, it should never be a deciding factor. If 2 people love each other for the person they are, then thar should be enough.
