What does it mean when a man holds a woman in his arms all night?

I've just recently started sleeping with a man, I've spoken and hung out with him months before I started sleeping with him, but the thing is after we have sex he holds me in his arms all night which is nice, I like it, but it's so deceiving. I mean he probably does this with every woman he's ever slept with, or could this mean something else? Maybe have something to do with how he feels about me? I just wake up in the morning so confused by it. Could someone help me out as to what this could mean? If anything at all?

When a man wants to hold you all night he wants to feel close with you and feel safe and sincure. My ex never did this. I'm in something like this it took him a long time before he Finally stayed over. I find it really nice holding eachother through the night then again I'm in love with the man lol. Maybe he has deeper feelings than he's voicing towards you? I find some men won't say how they feel. If you enjoy his company tell him. If you find it too soon for sleepovers then be honest. In my case I wasn't scared by it I had been begging for sleepovers for years and wanted to feel close to him something deeper. I don't regret it the first night didn't get much sleep. The next time we actually slept I was so tired. Make sure your on the same page and if you have feelings for him cuz the closeness was a major rush. Hugs

My x bf held me before all Night & made sure I was warm. I must admit I felt protected, he was also very calm & gentle. That's nit a side he allows to be seen so. If he is like my Friend, he cares about you as a person & you ease his mind. He could need a little tenderness too.

It means you were trying to take a stab at someones heart & it worked! Just trying to figure out why you would do that when all I ever did was liked you. I don't know if you always hated me or maybe liked me at one time, if you did & I did something to hurt you or p*ss you off, trust me it wasn't intentional, I wouldn't do that to you, (except that last post). Well, back with my ex, I used to always hold her because I wanted her to feel secure and safe. He might be doing this because he feels safest when he knows that you are safe. Besides, deep down inside, men need the comfort and calmness of a women to feel secure in their strength. As for the other women part, I couldn't tell you whether he's done this before or not, but enjoy the closeness you two share either way.

I have to agree with dehlig. It sounds like he is just showing affection. And it does not matter if he did that with every woman he has been with (and probably didn't). If it something you both enjoy there is no need to question it.

I was thinking the same thing. I recently started to see my old girlfriend & she never use to do that now she does. I know when I do that it means I want to show affection & be close to her so he is most likely doing the same.

Why do girls do that? I see it alot, they make sure they mention that they have known the guy for so long before they slept with him. No one knows who you are if your anonymous so it wouldn't matter how long you knew him.
