What does it mean when a guy calls a girl sassy?

So there's this guy I like, and my friend mentioned me to him and he said, "I would be friends with her but she's sassy with me all the time." Does that mean I'm being mean and I intimidate him? Does it mean I'm like witty or flirty? What does that even mean?

As with any term, it's subjective, but in my opinion, it means you're too much of a smart ass or bitchy.

With this guy, unfortunately, there's not much you can do to change his perception of you - as they say, "the first impression is everything."

Here's the thing, he's a very jokey person, and he sorta just blurts whatever come see to his mind first. The nect Tim I talked to him he complimented my appearance and said that I was cool (while smiling and staring/checking me out) he was like looking me in the eye the whole time. TBH I think he was teasing or being flirty in a way.
