What do guys see in skinny girls?

I don't get it? What is there to like? Aren't men hard wired to like big breasts and ass and belly? Why do these teeny tiny little things with B cups, flat tummies and baby asses get so many admirers? I just can't imagine why a healthy, hetero guy would prefer pencil legs over thick juicy thighs? Bones over jiggle? Nothing to squeeze vs everything to squeeze? I think you get the point but I seriously don't get it. Guys, what the hell do you see in skinny girls?

I'm a curvaceous girl and there's nothing skinny about me. I love my body, I think it's so womanly and sexy. But my crush turned me down and just got with some stick figure? I don't even see how he can get turned on by her! Maybe guys see something "sexy" in them that I just can't. Please let me know. It's baffling.

Pretty much all likes in females differ from place to place. Only one thing is ultimatively available everywhere - its a 0,7 to 1 waist-to-hip ratio.

Now if guys prefer more or less mass depends on a lot of factors:

- Culture
- Motherfigure (Oedipus)
- Wealth (its proven that wealthier guys prefer skinnier girls. Note that correlation =/= causation though)
- View on gender roles (more classical gender roles embrace feminine figures more)
- Age (Just think about your 15 years old self and see how many girls like the manly man bearded guy and how many liked the androgynous type. And then compare how it changed with age. More distinctive gender-differences become prefered with more age)

More aspects play a role, but those are from the top of my mind. Personally I go with what my best friends father said: "What am I supposed to do with such a girl? I don't want to break her and don't want to rip myself a bone-splinter." -> I prefer more curves.

I think what most men seem to most deeply be programmed to like is a nice waist hip ratio. Fat women don't have this, and underweight ones are challenged to. But slim girls with small breasts and thicker curvier girls can actually have very similar waist-hip ratios.

Now -which- thickness of waist hip ratio they like best varies by guy. There're also some demographic factors in terms of how heavy is seen is ideal, and globally even seem to be some income related link to how thin men find most attractive in women.

I think you're being a bit biased and you shouldn't put anybody down just because you don't agree that their body is attractive. Everyone has different tastes, though it isn't true that all thin girls with flat tummies have little boobs. I'm thin, I don't have a belly anymore and I still have 34Cs which are plenty enough for most people.

I think thin girls are sexy, thick girls are sexy - and there are men of the same mindset. It's better to just let people like what they like.

Well I see what you mean, no everyone will think that, but just like how it isn't reality that everyone will see all bodies as beautiful, it isn't reality that all men will think that thick girls like you are ideal.

I wish I could offer more of an explanation about why some men like thinner women, but I honestly think that what you're attracted to is something you as an individual can only understand. Hopefully I still offered some helpful advice though. :P I tried.

It's just a preference. Just like how some men likes overweight females ( chubby chasers). It's just something that you have to accept and not worry about because every guy isn't the same. I'm not skinny and plenty of guys flirts with me and ask me out on dates. Majority of them were tall and skinny. Except for my boyfriend he's tall and chubby.

As for why this guy chose another woman instead of you, it may well have nothing to do with your looks at all.

Attraction and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. That's an old saying but it's really true. My own view is that girls can be attractive and sexy in a wide variety of ways, and that's a good thing. So why no doubt you're attractive and sexy that doesn't mean a guy can't find a thinner girl attractive and sexy as well. Most guys won't openly admit it, but the very skinny, short girls with small breasts seem more like a teen than an adult and they find them very attractive, but they are legal.
The other reason is that some guys like the girl to seem small and weak.

I admit that I like the skinny, short, petite girls too, and I am attracted to teens. Not when they have their greasy skin and acne, lol, but when they aren't in that stage, I do find them attractive. I also like that they haven't been emotionally damaged yet from getting messed over and cheated on a lot by others yet so they can form a more trusting bond.

Yes, that's a big part of it. Once people have been messed over too much in life, which I think is most people's life experience as they get older, it becomes more and more difficult to really trust someone and to be confident in your relationship.
Think about it, especially people 30+, do they really trust others as much as they used to when they werw like 14 to 18 (high school age)?
I actually do find them physically attractive and cute too when they are very petite too. It is all part of that innocence perspective I think.
