Guys will be who they have to be to get sex, but once we have sex all those feelings of desire and lust we equate with caring for that person, thinking they're cool or interesting, go out the window. If we can hit it before we get emotionally attached we never will become emotional towards you. If he's an ass after he has sex it shows his true feelings. And if everyone is telling you this guys a snake why the hell would you doubt that bc he's got his sights on you?

Why do guys hit it and quit it? Because they don't want more than sex, and/or because the girl doesn't offer more than her body.
If he is telling you he is heartless believe him I'm sure he said that to all the girls he fucked and passed on and they blame him for not listening. Guys hit and quit for different reasons number one being they don't want anything besides the physical sex is all they wanted and after getting it they move on he's cool for admitting it but that doesn't mean he will change for you
Can't you just straight up ask him? Much better than either expecting too much or too little. That's what I'd do. Get to know him and when you guys are becoming something, just ask him what he's looking for with you and take it from there.
I would keep interest in this guy but don't give too much too quickly, you will sooner know what he wants, and how he feels about you!

Trust me I talk from a year and a half experience he just wants to sleep with you and then go find someone else it's not worth it to get hurt. You will find someone better then him.

They don't all do it some girls do it. The guys who do it just doesn't want to get all lovey dovey or have a clingy girlfriend who text him every hours.
The same can be asked about women too. It all depends on the person, their intentions or lack there of.
