I'm dating this guy for six months now and sometomes when we are both crossing the road and a car drives past he puts his arm out in front of me quickly. This has happened more than once. Sometimes he will do this even when the car is far away and he will put his hand out in front of me or if a car pulls out the drive. Other times if there's vomit on the pavement he will guide me away from it and he opens doors for me too all the time. He once told me to stand next to him when there was a drunk couple stood near me acting silly Why is he being protective of me like this? Is it a good thing?
