He texts me but won't meet me in person?

I've been talking to him for 6 months, we met online, he calls me once in a while and texts me to say whats up and all but he doesn't make any plans to meet me on his days off work or ever! he keeps making fake promises like "we can go to the movies next week"... but it never happens:/ I even asked him to "come over" at night and he said he would but he was way too tired. Also we've never even facetimed and ever since I brought up the question, he stopped calling me and now I have to be the one to call him first. He started taking so much longer just to reply to a text and he intentionally leaves me on read sometimes. I decided to be done with him and just stop replying to his messages but I just wanna understand why he's doing all this? by the way he's not a catfish he's real I know that for sure!

he probably likes you but is afraid to show that for the fear of being called needy or desperate, because some ladies are really nasty when they turn down a guy and it really takes a hit at their self-esteem

I don't know maybe he is just afraid of the way he looks compared to someone like yourself (keeping in mind I have no idea what you look like). if you are true a person of heart let him know that you will not judge based on looks or appearance, but for what he has as a personality, hope this helped a little!

LOL i'm not even that good looking myself but that doesn't stop me from meeting guys... i told him on the phone once that he had a nice face and he's like "nah I don't like my face" but he's really not that bad!! And that's no reason to take hours to reply to my texts when he's not even busy... i can't decide if I should talk to him and let him know that i like his personality regardless of his looks... or just never talk to him again cuz he treats me so bad
