This boy is my 17 years old brother's best friend. But this isn't the biggest problem. He has a girlfriend.
We started talking (and dance) like a 3 months ago and he started act strange. I knew that I liked him before and after a while I realized that he likes me too. When we finished taking dance lessons together I asked him how he feels. He said he loves me... but he loves his girlfriend too. He is "confused", because they argued a lot and his relationship with his girlfriend is so fake.
We said that we should be friends for now because we liked each other company so we started acted like before.
Little bit of flirting, small touches on the back/hands and texting every day.
(My brothers told me that I talking much more with this guy, than his girlfriend. And my mother noticed it too, but she looked at me a way that I felt ashmaid. I felt like a monster soo...)
Last week I told him I feel guilty because of talking with him so much while he has a girlfriend and I told him to stop flirting with each other, and just be friends. He said OK (so easily that it hurt me a bit but c'est la vie). He started act strange, like I was his "bro" or something, and he didn't replied my messages as quick as he did before. I understood that, because we are just friends after all...
But this week he sent me a pic of himself without a shirt on. He said he looks fat on it, but honestly he looked like a god. So he was pretty clearly showing off with his six pack abs and his perfect body.
My question is, what should I do? Does he really love me if he didn't break up with his girlfriend? Does he using me just to flirt with somebody or he needs some ego boost?
(But...
He is a sweet, funny guy and he has a pretty ruined soul and a lot of insecurity BUT in the same time he looks super confident and everything... he is confusing)
I know, I messed it up too, but please help with some advice, or just could you tell me your opinion about this situation?
