Is it weird my boyfriend's mom gives him massages?

I've been dating my boyfriend for 6 months, and if I've learned one thing in those 6 months it's that he's a mama's boy. In theory, in fine with that, but he gives her more time and attention than me especially since I'm away at college. His mother gives him massages which I think is weird even though he has been having some pain lately. For example, I was home Sunday night and gave him a massage, and then today I didn't hear from him for like an hour (despite trying to contact him) which I later found out was because he was getting a massage from his mother. I think this is so weird, especially since he does it with usually his shirt off and will pull down his pants a bit when on his stomach so she can massage his lower back. I've voice i think it's weird and he seems to not care, saying his parents have seen all of him naked before so it's okay. Am I crazy? Or is this weird?

I was raised in a very open and close home and that doesn't come off as weird to me, but I can see how it might to someone who was raised in a more modest environment. If he's a Mama's boy, you're not going to change him, or ever win that battle, so I'd be careful how hard you push. However, if he's good to his mom and respects her, those traits almost always carry over into the way they treat their SO.

I would say you have a perfectly good reason to be weirded out by it, but this isn't something that's considered uncommon. I know many guys who mom's will rub sore muscles they have just because women are usually better at it. If it really bothers you I would try asking if you could give him massages rather than his mom.
