Why did he ghost me all of sudden when things were going well?

About three months ago I met this guy on tinder and we started talking. It started off as very sexual/flirty and eventually, we gained each other's trust and I would say we became close. A few weeks ago, he started texting me more often. For instance, I once told him I was feeling very sad and he was just there for me texting me encouraging things to help me get through my depression. He also told me how much he appreciates me and even made me a music playlist, in which most of the songs were pretty romantic. Also, he tried to include me in his future by saying we should enlist in the same classes (we go to the same school), exercise together and even learning new hobbies together. Before he ghosted me, he had started a new job so his time to text me was even more limited. One night I tried being more flirty with him but he would play it off as if he didn't know. Eventually, I told him it bothered me that he would make me look like a fool whenever I would try to flirt and he would act as if he didn't know. He apologized for playing with me and I just got over it. Then, later on, he asks me to help him find a place to go visit and all I did was send him an app link that would help him choose on his own and he told me I was no help and basically left me on read. One, I don't understand why he made it seem as if he were interested and then try to play with me. Two, why make it seem like you care about me and then just go ghost?

Honey, you gotta look out for these red flags. Don't believe ANYTHING he says. First, you can grow a friendship over texting. There has to be a physical, eye to eye contact. You have to spend time together and do activities together to even consider calling yourselves friends or lovers or whatever. Digital relationships are 0. He was your friend as much as some actor on your favorite TV is. NOT REAL. And he probably knew this and that's why he never initiated dates. Because he was just killing time virtually, playing an online multiplayer game. And once he was done he uninstalled you.

He never cared about you, he got bored a d moved on. Don't waste energy on why because honestly you'll probably never know the reason.
