Both of these are too attractive to me because I like my girl to look really unconventional. These women would be too high of maintenance and so I stick to plain to unattractive. You are right why would anyone want the conventional.
Man is attracted to beauty and the better the beauty the more attracted the man. The first girl has fine tuned beauty IE her hair. The second girl has a hard edged IE her hair. That's the only way I know how to explain it. But to put it mildly men attract to beauty and that's the bottom line.
I mean, girl 1 is definitely prettier to me, but she's not necessarily particularly pretty or crazy pretty. Maybe if she smiled more in the shot, it'd be better, but yeah.
But these are both conventionally attractive? 😂 And their facial features are actually astonishingly similar, the only difference is their skin/hair/eye color
You kidding me? I love dark haired women. And yes, I love females who can spark some flare of originality in their looks. To me, beauty is the eye of the beholder and I want to behold all of it.
The majority of men (people) are conventional... The same way some say they want a good woman with this and that qualities until they realise they are not a match themselves to what they desire...
All the guys I've dated liked me better with dark hair and little to no makeup on. I dont wear much to begin with but I have nice skin. I think most guys like the not-fake look better. But only if you're naturally pretty
You are making an assertion here but I'm not sure how you came to this conclusion. Also you didn't really define what conventional/unique beauty means. Is it just blonde vs dark hair? That's all I can guess from what you are saying.
Because media promotion, they for the most part only promote women who look like the woman in the first picture. But remember, every guy is different, there are guys who would be willing to date the girl in the second picture.
This is probably me stereotyping, but I've been attracted to blondes with her type of face. She just looks like a gold digging, fake sun tan applying, party girl. She looks cheap to me.
I mean, the latter woman has much sharper features. They're just kind of shrewd and it's a bit hard to look at, in my opinion. I'm not a fan of blondes, but the former woman is just easier to look at overall.
Rubbish, you're just looking for reasons to hate attractive girls. Most of us don't look like that and still get dates plus both girls are gorg, there are different types of beauty.
I find the second woman more attractive. The reason is in the question though, conventionally attractive woman are by definition attractive to the majority of people, either globally or in specific places

Those both seem pretty conventional to me. Although I would have said the first one was definitely less conventional.
The idea of conventional attractiveness is essentially a middle ground with all the main features of all the more specific aesthetics people like. It means that it'll have the most appeal to the most people, but not be perfection for most people. Basically, by trying to appeal to everyone you end up as a ideal to no one.
@burlen "Conventionally attractive" means someone who the majority of the mainstream population would find attractive. For example, most people who are cast as leads in any movie or TV show are "conventionally attractive" with some rare exceptions.
So, a few guys may be into muscular, body-building women - but the majority of people wouldn't find them attractive. The same with obese women. And the same would be true of people "niche" social styles, such as the hyper-religious (think Amish or Orthodox Jew), or alt/punk/goth/emo girls, or hippy/stoner girls. Such girls would not be considered "conventionally attractive."
I’m more attracted by the second girl (the brunette) by far. Maybe it depends on the kind of guy the you are… the classic blonde beauty is indifferent to me, while I admit she is beautiful by any standards. The bruttene is basically the ideal girl I see for a long-term relationship.
Depends on the guy really... I really wanted to post pics of the girls I like (I mean not in a sexual way), but I doubt they'll like it. But they are not your coventational beauty...
Um... Pretty sure BOTH of those girls are conventionally attractive... It's in the face more than the hair and eyes color. You just changed the hair and eyes about color, and the top one has on a little more makeup. Other than that they're the same.
Could you explain for us the meaning of "conventional" and "unique" beauty. Or at least, specify the characteristics of "conventional" beauty and how they differ from "unique" beauty.

Girl 2 is not really my type.

How is the second woman not conventionally attractive? What exactly is supposed to be unique about her?
I am curious to find out too.

edit : never been attracted to

Both of these women are absolutely "conventionally attractive" and I find the second much more attractive personally.
Yeah, both are conformists
