How do you get a guy to kiss you?

Question

So when i want a guy to kiss me, I don't usually know what to do. I'm very inexperienced and I don't really just want to go in for the kiss by myself not really knowing what to do, I get all shy and nervous. I just feel too awkward and end up hugging them or giving them a kiss on the cheek.

Unfortunately I think a lot of young men are too scared to take control these days and I was wondering what I could do to give the guy the green light to kiss me instead of being awkward and having to ask.

You have to make him want to kiss you by creating some sexual tension and more of a sexual vibe than a social one. This works for guys or girls.

Creating sexual tension is easy, you just have to cut out the things that we all do all day every day to reduce tension. For example: staying at a distance away from them, cracking a lot of jokes, smiling a lot, talking a lot, laughing, being very expressive, breaking eye contact. All of these things are done to break tension and they're all platonic, social behaviours.

Often for example with laughing you'll notice after I tell you this that you let out a little laugh at things that aren't even funny and that weren't meant to be, and you do this to break tension.

You fill in "awkward silences". The reason they feel awkward is because silence builds tension, and when tension is there you want to break it. Awkwardness = tension. When you like the other person, this tension can be a good feeling rather than a negative one as it usually is. But there will still be that feeling of needing to break the tension - and one of the ways to break that tension is to kiss.

To create this get closer to him and slow everything down. Do this gradually - talk less and allow pauses, talk more quietly, hold stronger eye contact. Perhaps allow your eyes to dart down to his lips and back up to his eyes again signalling that you're doing this. Unless he's really shy too he'll read this and he'll go for it.

There several universal signals that people give when they want to be, or are expecting to be kissed.

You should be close to the other person. You don't actually have to be right next to them. But, it works best to be just under arms reach. Outside of that the distance needs to be closed so the kiss can obviously happen.

Next would be a slight head tilt. Tilt your head slightly towards the hand you write with. Most people this is to the right. This is so you don't bump noses.
Then you can either slightly wet your lips or bite your lips. This is the most overt signal most people give. No one wants to kiss dry lips. This combined with a head tilt is a major signal.
The final signal is known as the kiss triangle. Looking into a persons eyes then at their lips. It starts with looking at each eye individually (left, right) then at the lips. So, it looks like left, right, lips then left, right, lips. Slowly, you don't want to look like you have an eye problem. You see this in movies a lot when they do the first kiss close up. Eyecontact is the answer and obviously he should like you back. Just stare into his eyes, switch to his lips slowly and look back into his eyes. If he doesn't get the hint, look longer at his lips. I don't know whether it's just me but there is this seductive tactic you could use, it's about the way you move your eyes, you could move them seductively and of course the way your chin is lifted plays a role as well and the rest of your body language. You have to make him eager to kiss you and your body language is what could drive a man crazy. I could give a whole theory but it would be too much lol.

Or you could also just ask him directly but I don't think he would be as turned on than when you 'seduce' him into it.

Awesome that you are already at the kissing on the cheek stage! This has actually worked really well for me in the past.

Whenever there was a good moment to give someone a kiss on the cheek, I'd do that, but then either made that kiss quite a bit longer than you normally would for a friendly kiss on the cheek, or "accidentally" moved a bit closer to his mouth than his cheek. I'd also lean in way closer with my upper body.

Either the guy understands this signal and acts on it, or he is probably not interested in you. If he seems especially dense/shy, you can try this a few times, but in my experience, it's never needed more than just one try to figure out if the guy was actually interested in me or not.

I believe you need to make signs, give signals, some examples..

A. Write on one of your cheeks, or on your chin, "Kiss here" and draw an arrow pointing to your lips. If it's written on your cheek you want to make sure he's looking at you in profile so he can read the sign, then you turn so that your face is facing him.

B. Point to your lips and pout, y'know the ol' 'duck face' ting

C. Now this one may be slightly blatant, but if you do want to take a very forward approach it's a good shout I reckon. Basically you just say "kiss me".. or if you don't want to make it so simple and straight forward you could say "How do I get you to kiss me?" So essentially ask him the question you are asking us now.. maybe it won't be too boring either maybe it'll be a good challenge, like you have to bring him three legendary animal pelts or Micah's severed head or a cure for TB y'know something like that..

You do things like kick him lightly in the buttocks, feed him food, like french fries or pretzels, directly into his mouth. Touch his shoulder. Stroke his neck with your fingers.

Time to ask. Just ask him if he would be willing to teach you how to kiss.
