If I disappear on my boyfriend will he notice I am gone?

Seems the only time my boyfriend makes time for me is when he wants too which is a week from the last time we talked. When we do talk it's an excuse of I've been busy with work and it's been hellish this is what he told me last night. I wished him positive vibes and his response was I try to be positive. I'm confused why am I here in his life and what are we doing? My texts to him have become slower and we don't talk much.. it's to the point I'm tired of being taken for granted by him. I'm at the point of walking away or completely withdrawing from him.
