It's a belief among so-called "Christians" who don't understand the Bible. Yes, the Bible declares the man to be the leader in a relationship, but it says in the same breath that men are to utilize their leadership in a way that emulates Christ (Eph 5:25-33). How did Christ utilize his leadership? By serving, instead of being served:
"25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matt 20:25-28)
But anyway, to answer OP's question: YES, I've heard the claim that "women are made to serve men", often from "conservative" religious people, who have no actual understanding of the Bible & what Biblical leadership truly means (Biblical leadership is about serving, not being served).
There are indeed some men out there that think this, and some of them truly mean it. I don't, but I know some that do. ... I'll be nice and say nothing else about them.
C. No, I totally respect women! I don't think that any woman is meant to be my slave but there are certain roles that we each play that are catergorized that way, maybe falsely
No, not at all and to make sure that I follow that strictly I stay single with my own place and get used as a sex slave only. I never ask for anything because if I did I would be tortured.
According to the bible women were made by god because he decided to troll Adam... The rest is fucking history... Thanks a bunch motherfucker... women and their fucking fruits.

Yes, men like that do exist. A damn bronze age retard.
If you want someone to serve you then hire a personal maid or butler.
Anything that someone especially my wife doesn't do from her heart I don't want it.
Unfortunately, yes. Insanely stupid men, who apparently haven't realised, that the 1900s is over!
On behalf of my gender, I sincerely apologize!!
Aren't we? They thought so in the 60's.
Do some guys? Sure, this is a tenet of many fundamentalist religious sects, whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or Hindu.

No men are just too stupid to take care of themselves
Women are my equals. It's insulting to know that there are men out there who believe that women must be subjugated. It is wrong.

God made man and woman to complement each other's roles.
No. In pre-Christian Europe women were always in privileged positions in society. They were honoured.
Yes darling some guys think so that you are their property.

Some cultures still teach this. But most men in the western world do not believe it.

Some men do. They’re called assholes!
Only if they want to.. In my opinion.. a lady can do whatever she pleases
women are designed to be the helpers of men
ITS IN THE BIBLE
Some communities treat women like a slave but in west women are independent.
