What does it mean when my coworker said he feels weird and its just one of those days for him at work?

So yesterday was not the greatest day at work. I came in late, then accidentally gave a customer the wrong food which he was allergic too and felt so terrible about it, then my coworker yelled at me for doing that and then after that i just kept my distance and it was just a really bad day yesterday and i kept on messing things up, and it wasn't even my first day anymore. Anyway towards the end, my coworker said he felt weird and just one of those days for him and he wanted it to be over and i told him well its over in 2 hours, and he said yeah were almost off. I wonder if he had an idea i was upset or something but anyway what did he mean by feeling weird?

He could have been having an off day, too.

I've noticed especially in close knit teams or teams where there's enough people of similar enough personality that sometimes those moods sync up.

I had that fairly frequently with teams I was part of - if one of us was having a significantly bad enough day, it sorta spread to the rest of us. Mostly because we'd try to step in to share the load, but also because we all had similar "triggers" for bad moods.

I think he's just stressed. No deeper meaning, nothing to do with you.

Was this the same coworker who had yelled at you earlier in the day? If not, his comment most likely didn't have anything to do with you.

Yep, and i know but im wondering why he felt weird. And I don't know, i think there will be some tension. Im nervous to even go in.
