Does my brothers friend like me?

I have a big crush on my brothers friend for a long time and I already told my mom so my mom knows. Anyways my brothers friend let’s call him zack so according to my mom zack always looks at me like he is nervous and sometimes when I pass by he doesn’t look at me only when I’m not paying attention to him and I can see him in the corner of my eye staring at me. Also he copies my choice of words a lot I created this phrase and he heard me now he is saying it my mom told me she heard him say it a lot I think it’s cute how he copies my choice of words lol. Also my brother told my mom on Tuesday when my crush came over he asked my brother if he could talk to me And become friends with me I find it weird that me and my crush known each other for a long time and just now he just wanted to talk to me my brother sadly told him no because of something that happened a long time ago I don’t wanna talk about it but do you guys think my crush likes me back or is it all in my head.
