Why didn't he pick up my phone call?

This is about my ex. We dated for like three or four days after I had enough of his shit. On the second day of our relationship, he didn't pick up my phone calls. I called him like five times. I was worried if something had happened. Then to check if something was wrong or if he was just not picking my phone call, I called him from another number and he instantly picked the call. When I later asked him, he said : he was with his friends. He could have just texted me or picked up call and said: I am busy. Let's talk later.
I am just asking because it makes me curious: was he playing games with me? Did he feel shy with his friends around? Did I butter his ego by asking him out first (technically I just asked him if he liked me. He took two days to call me and say: yes)

It definitely sounds like he was dodging you, and the fact that you guys are broken up now only add to that notion. Honestly it’s hard to know exactly why him, or a lot of men in general, do what they do and then rather than own up to it, they’ll say they suddenly got busy. Well that is hard to believe when before a certain point or occurrence, they made you a priority. Anyway, hopefully your next boyfriend isn’t such a disappointment.

I really dont get it why he was dodging me? This happened after we started dating on day two. Not after we broke up. If he wanted to dodge me that bad why did he say he liked me just a day before and wanted to date officially?

Boys are such a mystery. So hard to understand. 😩

How did you guys meet? If it was through a dating app, then 9/10 if he’s acting that way then he still has an active profile and found another match. At least in my experience, guys you meet online are more likely to pull a insensitive move because it’s less personal and they aren’t done playing the field. If you met in person, he is less likely to do this because he could run into you in person, or if you share mutual friends.

We are classmates. And we do run into each other. Completely ignore each other. Mostly him.

Ironically he called me three times after we broke up to 'hang out'. I was shocked at first. Even irritated. First I spoke nicely to him as a friend. Didn't wanted to be mean. But when he kept on constantly calling, told him straight not to call me again since we have broken up.
