What does it mean when a group of guys stare at you in the gym? (Page 2)

Question

I know this may seem like silly question but im asking out of sheer observation.  For starters, im not a skinny girl; in fact I would fit more into the plus size chubby girl category.  And because of this and wanting to achieve my goal weight in order to be healthy , I started going to the gym.  However there was one experience where I was walking past a group of several guys working out. They all stopped and stared at me walk towards the changing rooms.  It was slightly uncomfortable as it made me feel all the more aware of myself and self conscious  Im not a girl that most guys find attractive (which is fine) but what other reasons could there have been as I'm not sure what to think.
