Why does my ex still have all my pictures?

We talked for about a year he saved 200+ pictures of me during that year mostly screenshots from Snapchat and FaceTime. He was everything I wanted and more until he joined the marines and started treating me completely differently. He told me he didn’t love me and that he didn’t see a future with me. Which obviously hurt and we just stopped talking. This was 2 months ago, he still has all my pictures none of them have deleted. Why?

Some memories are unique to people.

Your breakup was kind of like this one girl I once dated. I kept all the pictures from our trip to Amsterdam and other places. If I were to look at the photos of only us again, I don't feel remorse for the time I spent with them. We had a good time. Plus it's rare you break up with someone on decent terms. Like it was a romantic kiss goodbye kind of break up. We just didn't have a solid future together.
