Do guys stop watching your stories to get your attention?

This guy and I have been on and off for ten months with breaks in between weeks of no communication. He used to watch all of my stories but doesn't anymore, after he said he liked me and even asked me to find him a girl like me. We live in different countries and in our last conversation he said "there is always someone here waiting to go out with you". He asked me if I'm seeing other guys and I said yes but only casually (I do but nothing special) and he seemed to be cool with that and interested about my dating life (I never asked him such a thing). There was a period before I stopped watching his stories to get over him but ended up texting him. Not sure if he's doing it with the same logic deliberately ignoring them. He was the one to end our conversation told me it was a pleasure and we will speak again but he hasn't reached out. I haven't either cause I know he has some exams now and don't want to disturb or annoy him especially if he's moving on and dating other people.

he asked you a lot of times to accept him... and your constant disapproval of him by saying that you go out with other boys... turned him off... now he genuinely doesn't want to talk to you!!!
I did the same with a girl once!!!

I was always reaching out to him and told him explicitly that I'm interested not that I like him (I was scared to tell him cause I wasn't sure if he did). In one of his last texts he remembered when I said I missed going to the beach and making out he wrote "would love to join you and I hope you still want it" and I said "cmon you know that I do want and I said it many times" he didn't seem convinced and changed the subject.

try to make a plan for the beach one day!! Say that you like him...
I am sure the tables would be turned!!
Also try to appear attractive in front of him!!

Now with covid not sure when we can meet, he has a lot going on this period he told me, he is studying to get a license to become professional coach and I don't want to affect him cause he has been preparing hard and it means a lot to him. I understand if he doesn't feel like interacting with me anymore in case he felt hurt. I prefer to tell him in person what I am feeling because I genuinely like him and I know he felt it too cause many times he would say "I like that we are like this or like that with each other"' I also know he hates that we live far away cause whenever we spoke he was saying it sucks that you can't be next to me right now

Listen... one thing is clear about guys... we are very bad at getting hints... so if you haven't told him directly that you like him... he would not know it or believe it... its better that you say you like him before someone else takes him!!

Hmmm I will think about that, not very comfortable with vulnerability also don't want to make a fool of myself. I was the one telling him looking for a casual chilled thing. I wanted that at first but I wouldn't know that I would really like him in the end...

Thank you for the advice. I will really consider it. We are in good terms also and I like to remain friends if he's already move on. It will hurt as f* but if he's happier and found someone else I will swallow it.
