Guy's Behavior

There's a boy in my class who's kinda a jerk, but I think he likes me. Is he just flirting like he does with other girls or does he really like me?

So, it's complicated. He and I sit next to each other in the roll order for homeroom and other assemblies in which he takes as the chance to annoy the crap outta me. He does stuff like squint at me and put on a disgusted look, which ends up embarrassing and I tell him to stop looking at me. He'll usually deny that he was, but I think he does that to annoy me as well. He found a note I'd written to a friend when she was sad and will not give it back to me, which I try to ignore. He brags about how he can run faster than me in cross-country, which honestly, why would I care? I asked him that once and he said it was because of my "just general, Stacey-like behaviour". He calls me Stacey when my real name's Grace, and I don't even know why. I catch him looking at me in class a fair bit and he always goes OUT OF HIS WAY to get my attention. Like I said, this kid's kinda a jerk, so I don't know whether he's just a shallow player and he wants a girl's attention or if under his tough act he actually genuinely likes me. He also likes to talk to my other friend and tease her about dumb stuff too so I really DONT KNOW! Please help me I'm miserable guys!!
