There is a guy I like. He has been giving me signs for several months like staring at me or being close and he seemed really nice. But some girl thought they were gonna be together because she says he gave her all the signs one day and the day after he says he doesn't like her. That surprised me. My closest friends dont like him. I dont want to end up like the girl I mentioned should I forget him? or should I give him a try?(PLEASE HELP THANK YOU😊)

Try getting to know him better. The better you know someone the easier it will be to read their intentions. And better able to tell if he's being that way with just you or her behaves that way with everyone. You could also be the one to express interest if you're comfortable doing that. As scary as it might be sometimes guys are just as scared to approach... The worst that can happen is you'll find out, he doesn't like you, and if that was the case it might hurt a little bit better to know for sure than to not know..

Why not give it a shot? Approach soft, invite out for a lunch together, something innocent and neutral. Just an opportunity to get to know each other and see if it's something either or both of you want to pursue.

There's nothing to lose there. It's a lot easier than keeping it on your mind and having "what-ifs" circling around. Those can lead to regrets, and even if you find you don't want to pursue anything, at least you'll know :)

Why your friend doesn't like him? Maybe u girls are seeing things that are not there. What kind signs did he gave? Grab u by neck and said "get on your knees, girl I got something for you?" We guys dont do whole giving a "sign" deal. Giving sign for what?

Looking and smiling okey, I do those things everyday. His probably just practicing to flirt with girls, no big deal. Your friends are probably right, just watch him go and maybe u will notice he is looking and smiling with many girls. No big deal.
