How much tradition do you want? You can be partially by waiting till marriage but not being a housewife or by not waiting till marriage but be provider/housewife. So i think nobody can be 100% traditional without committing a crime (eg. wife beating/marital rape). It is just a fact thst you have to hit your wife for not obeying if you want a 100% traditional lifestyle. That is why i am asking it. I don’t know what others mean by traditional women but I can speak on what I mean by a traditional woman.
For me it means a woman that still wants to be the feminine one in the relationship. A more delicate, feminine and subtle woman who likes to cook, clean and takes care around the house and with the kids as her contribution to the union while the man works and fights in the competitive world of men to provide a good living for his family.


Given that our times have changed so much I feel that the new age traditional woman is a woman who want to be feminine and would not oppose to be taken care of by her man whilst her taking care of her man and being exclusively his.

I'm pretty sure it just means traditional gender values, where the guy goes out there and is the breadwinner, whilst the woman is the housewife.

People associate being the provider, getting things done, etc with dominance, and maybe assume the housewife is the opposite by default, because they assume that opposites attract in this situation.

There's nothing wrong with traditional gender roles if that's what a couple agree too.
