Why would a guy who texted me everyday and called earlier now doesn’t text me?

We are constantly in touch since last 4 months , he texted and called regularly but now he may send me a snap in days and doesn’t text me or start conversations. He texts me once a week or 4-5 days , calls me then keep texting me regularly for 3-4 days then suddenly disappears for 3-4 days again. I’m not able to understand the pattern. Also, few days back he was really drunk and texted and called me that he wants to see me and that he really wants to talk to me. He even admitted that he adores me and likes talking to me but then acts weird. If he likes me why doesn’t he text me regularly. Also, he only texts me when he sees I posted a nice picture of mine or when I post a story but earlier he used to text daily. What does all this means? He said he really wants to get close to me and I should tell him what to do. But then he acts like he is not interested.

Well, tbh I did earlier but not much as I feel like I’m bothering him and doesn’t want to look clingy. When he was drunk he said one thing that even in this state , I want to talk to you. But I feel like one day he is super interested and other day he is not may be he doesn’t know how I feel. I feel like I should give him space so I don’t reach out much. But why does he only texts me when I post a new picture or something. It is so confusing.

He moved on. Maybe you weren't texting him first. Maybe he found another girl. You might have hurt him. He was most likely looking for a relationship but you didn't give him that so he moved on
